Cancel and Relist

• Easiest way - follow these steps:

  • Clients sign a MLS Change Form

    • Check Cancelled under the Status Change Section

    • In the Other Section - Write out something along these lines. 

      • Please cancel off the MLS ONLY. The listing contract is still valid. We will be relisting on ____ date. 

    • This will keep all of your listing paperwork valid. 

** If you don't do this step and just check the  Cancelled box in the Status Change section the listing agreement/contract is cancelled as well and ALL new listing paperwork will be needed to relist the property. 

Remember to send a message through Dotloop asking to have the property cancelled.  If possible include  that the property will be relisting on x date (if known).
