Once the office has added the listing to the MLS, a message will be sent through Dotloop with the Withheld # or Incomplete #.
The message with say something along the lines of - please review Incomplete or Withheld # ______ on the Add/Edit tab of the MLS.
To review or look over the listing. Log into the MLS.
Click on Add/Edit at the top of the screen
Either enter the # in the Search Field and make sure that all statuses are checked. I recommend to select- Incomplete, Active, Coming Soon and Withheld. That way all listings in any status are visible.
Once the correct listing is pulled up. Look over the Add/Edit tab to ensure all the listing information is correct.
If something needs to be updated, message the office through Dotloop and advise what needs to be updated.
Once photos are ready to be added to the listing. Select Media at the top of the screen.
Make sure Photos is Bold (this tells what type of media to be uploaded)
Click the Blue + sign towards the bottom right of the screen.
Then add your photos from your computer.
Drag photos to rearrange the photos in the order. Typically agents organize photos with the flow of the house. Add comments to photos if you would like to describe what the photo is showing. (i.e. Main floor bedroom, Main level 1/2 bath, Lower level family room.)
Next upload your supplements (i.e. seller disclosure, well/septic disclosures, location map, TISH report)
Click on Supplements and the Blue + sign towards the bottom right of the screen.
Select Virtual Tour if you have a virtual tour to upload as well.
RULES FOR THE MLS --- The only Web link you may include with a listing is for an unbranded virtual tour. The tour may not link out to any other site. No other links to any other Web site will be accepted in any field, including Media Uploads, Public Remarks and Agent Remarks.
To ensure that the virtual tour is compliant with the MLS regulations, email a copy to rules@northstarmls.com
Once the listing looks good to go . Send a message to the office staff through Dotloop advising listing looks good and is ready to go Active or Coming Soon.
The office staff will respond through Dotloop once the listing is Coming Soon or Active.
